The 2026 CCTV Spring Festival Gala Yiwu Sub-Venue light show, grandly staged at the Yiwu Global Digital Trade Center, has been successfully unveiled to billions of global audiences, marking a perfect integration of traditional Chinese culture and cutting-edge intelligent lighting technology. As one of the most influential cultural events in the world, the CCTV Spring Festival Gala attracts viewers from every corner of the globe, and its sub-venues are tasked with showcasing regional characteristics while meeting the highest standards of live broadcast performance. This year’s Yiwu Sub-Venue light show stood out with its unique blend of the profound heritage of the ancient Silk Road—an iconic symbol of China’s foreign trade and cultural exchange—and the elegant aesthetics of traditional southern Chinese culture, creating a magnificent, cohesive visual experience that tells a vivid story of China’s development and cultural prosperity through dynamic light and shadow.
Back in October 2025, the Yiwu Global Digital Trade Center made a spectacular debut with a grand opening light show that combined synchronized building illumination, dynamic light mapping, and stunning drone formations, all of which illuminated the Yiwu night sky and captured widespread attention from the public and industry insiders alike. Drawing on this successful experience, Seekway Innovations tailored its technical offerings to the strict performance standards and unique thematic requirements of the CCTV Spring Festival Gala.
Centering on the core themes of “digital trade foundation” and “China-foreign integration” —which align perfectly with Yiwu’s status as a global commodity trading hub and the Global Digital Trade Center’s mission to promote cross-border digital commerce—Seekway Innovations provided comprehensive, reliable technical support to deliver a high-standard, visually stunning light show for this iconic national event. The company’s team of professional engineers and technical experts worked closely with the gala’s production team, conducting in-depth research on the venue’s structure, lighting layout, and performance needs to ensure every detail of the light show aligned with the event’s overall tone and cultural connotations.
This project requires stunning visuals and precise execution under live broadcast conditions. It proves that professional architectural lighting control can turn commercial landmarks into stable visual stages for large live events.
In today’s globalized world, cities are increasingly using large-scale lighting installations to enhance their image, attract tourists, and showcase their cultural identity. When executed with professional control systems like Seekway Innovations’s Cloud Control 4.2, these installations elevate ordinary commercial spaces into memorable landmarks capable of hosting top-tier celebratory events, enhancing urban image and cultural influence on an international scale. The Yiwu Global Digital Trade Center’s success as a Spring Festival Gala sub-venue is a testament to the transformative power of intelligent lighting control in shaping modern urban landscapes and cultural experiences.

Covering a large control area and requiring strict precision, the gala light show called for consistent coordination between building facades and on-site rhythm, full compatibility with different lighting brands, and smooth rendering of numerous pixel points. The project team maintained unified visual effects across all structures, with the control system handling multiple data streams at the same time to ensure stable output. Through systematic technical deployment, Seekway Innovations realized unified management of multi-brand lighting systems and frame-level synchronization with the performance, presenting fluent and high-quality light effects that meet both artistic presentation and technical stability for the gala stage.

To ensure precise integration of the various systems under complex conditions, Seekway Innovations upgraded the linked control solution to the Cloud Control 4.2 local deployment version. This upgrade reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to providing flexible and robust solutions that adapt to high-stakes environments.
The solution covered lighting for seven buildings (T3-T7 and M1-M2), along with the commercial streets and plaza sculptures at the Yiwu Global Digital Trade Center. The system used the Master control host located in Building T7 as the local central server. It integrated equipment from multiple brands through the UDP protocol to create a unified control architecture, while still supporting the cloud platform for real-time operation, maintenance, and long-term management.
Local deployment ensures stable system operation, avoiding risks from network disruptions. The cloud platform supports efficient monitoring and flexible adjustment during preparation and post-event management.

Based on the overall lighting design, the team utilized Seekway LED Player 3.5 software to carry out in-depth programming and optimization of the dynamic transitions and linkages between the buildings, sculptures, and the main Spring Festival Gala stage. This enabled more than 380,000 pixel points to accurately follow the performance rhythm, noticeably improving the final visual impact and ensuring that the architectural lighting complemented the stage performance without any noticeable delay or inconsistency.

In the CAD drawing services, facing challenges such as complex integration of multi-system drawings and deviations between on-site construction and drawings, the team ensured drawing accuracy and implementability through detailed design and on-site technical coordination, providing a reliable foundation for project execution.
At the Yiwu Global Digital Trade Center and the 2026 CCTV Spring Festival Gala Yiwu Sub-Venue, Seekway Innovations achieved seamless integration of technology and art through two rounds of technical upgrades and reliable control solutions. The synchronized lighting, precise visual effects, and stable on-site operation created a spectacular cultural presentation for global audiences.
