Preparing the Square Frame Project

Start by creating your square model (each side 60 pixels, total 240 pixels) In Magic Player:

• Create a new project.

• Use model 482 (or match your actual controller/chip).

Draw the square wiring:

• Port 1 controls the first two sides (120 pixels)

• Port 2 controls the next two sides (another 120 pixels)

Follow the actual signal flow direction when drawing the wiring around the square.

Creating Circling Effects with Square Wiring

With the square wiring active:

• Open Advanced Effects.

• Choose a circling or rotating effect.

• Add color bands, adjust speed, and customize colors (you can delete unwanted colors or modify them directly).

• Add multiple colors and change lengths as needed.

You can achieve many nice rotating and gradient effects easily with this layout.

The Problem with Flowing Effects

• Go to wiring mode and delete the existing Port 1 and Port 2 wiring.

• Create a new linear wiring:Use quick wiring on Port 1 for 120 pixels in a straight line.

• Copy and place another 120 pixels on Port 2 right after it, making one continuous 240-pixel line.
  

(Optional) Add virtual lines on Port 8 to create a rectangular canvas for better preview.

Programming the Flowing Water Effect

In the linear wiring project:

• Go to Advanced Effects.

• Add a push/flow effect.

• Set the color band length to 1 for single-pixel movement.

• Use a base color (e.g., red) on a black background so pixels appear one by one.

• Adjust speed (try 0.5 or 1 pixel per frame) until the fill completes smoothly across all 240 pixels.
  
  

Duplicate the timeline and create a reverse direction to make the pixels turn off one by one.

Converting and Importing the Effect

Now transfer the effect back to your main square wiring project:

• In the linear project, select the completed program.

• Open your original square wiring project .

• Go to the Media Library → Import the BIN file (treat it like a video asset).

• Create a new program and add the imported BIN effect.

• Adjust the Preview Window size to match your actual square frame dimensions.
